first cactus blossom






i am aware there are lots of "first..." post titles:) 
this is a gift from my mom... 
the photos are not great but i was in a hurry 
and wanted to mark the event:)

  1. I always loved cacti because of the form factor (who doesn't like spines, or being leafless, or truckless? Sensational.) And the flowers...

    1. I noticed just now that all three plants appear to have flower buds. You have a green--possibly spiny--thumb.

      I realize that cacti thrive on neglect, but how will you manage to take care of all these potted plants when your side of the Danube hots up? Inquisitive readers want to know.

    2. hehe - i can't wait to see all the buds blooming!

      it will be hard with the pots - but the sedums are part of a big project, surprise surprise - i won't leave them in pots - it is just that this horrible corona has put everything on hold :-(

  4. He looks so humble for the most part of the year - and so regal now, he seems that he celebrates what for us may be shadow and light for plants:)
