The mauve flowers look like Four O'clocks (Mirabilis jalapa), which grow here. (Note that my color palate may not match yours, as I am woefully colorblind. Consider 'mauve' as an approximation. In fact, consider everything I say as an approximation.
the white rose is Ilse Krohn climber, it's pretty but very small, as all roses, i planted them last autumn. the flowers don't last long, though, i am thinking whether i should move it and replace it with something else.
Yes, I accept that they are petunias (though not bad about the mauve for a color-challenged person). And for what it's worth, I like the roses, even though they are not ever-blooming.
ehe, daca privesc blogul in ansamblu, vad ca seara si noaptea o atrag pe draga in gradina irezistibil:) nu degeaba s-au scris atatea poezii in care este infatisat exact acest cadru, al poetului care priveste gradinile noaptea si isi ascute simtirea:) ...imi imaginez cum este sa intalnesti la fiecare pas o floare si sa ii spui numele, incet, in gand_
am descoperit ca aceste petunii sunt numite vintage si nu mai pot fi cumparate din comert, pentru ca acum crescatorii s-au concentrat pe flori mai intens colorate, dar care nu au parfum... mi-a trimis m un articol despre cum sa faci o gradina parfumata, si acolo le-am gasit. si da, si la ele si la crini parfumul apare seara si se intensifica noaptea, am iesit pe la 3 si am ametit, era innebunitor... deci le iubesc la nebunie, nu-mi vine sa cred ca am avut noroc sa apara!!!

ReplyDeletepetunias! they are a soft mauve, yes, they turned to be 4 colours, white and soft tones of lilac, pink and mauve...
Deletei know Mirabilis, i had seeds at some point but i lost them. they say it is very fragrant...

They say ... Climbing green stems lined with ovate, slightly fuzzy/sticky green foliage. Is it fuzzy?
