gooseberry (agrise)

this little bush was already here when we moved, the fruit are delicious and i read they are incredibly healthy (as all berries?)

amazing sea holly (scai vanat)

I know I have already posted about this Eryngium, but it is just too mesmerizing, the colour has turned into an incredible blue-violet and it is just gorgeous, i had to return to it with my camera.
I have to find a way to propagate it!

humble ones

these are mostly tiny flowers which have appeared after i scattered seeds from an annual flower mix: creeping morning glory, iberis umbellata (tiny lilac one), african daisy (the orange one)... and a lot of zinnias (which are neither tiny nor humble, i will come back to them later)

a funny allium

Allium sphaerocephalon - and it has stayed like this for a really looong time, I am totally glad I bought these bulbs! I hope it comes back next year, it should, from what i read...

deep summer

buddleja (summer lilac) & solidago canadensis (canadian goldenrod)
both found here, already in the garden

when rain hits

the fourth type of lilies opened today! the bulbs are a gift from my father, he got them at the market, they were supposed to be the common garden lily (which i love, though smaller, but very fragrant) - instead they turned out to be imperial as well!

and while i was pondering how pure their white was, gleaming-sparkling, an unexpected rain started to pour down - i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw them afterwards, half yellow! Kiki even thought they were supposed to be like this! :-)
